What does 'Veteran Preferred' mean in a job posting?

'Veteran Preferred' in a job posting indicates that the employer values military experience and gives preference to applicants who are veterans of the armed forces. This is often done to support veteran employment and leverage the unique skills, discipline, and leadership qualities that military service members bring to the workplace.

How does being a Veteran Preferred candidate influence the hiring process and team dynamics?

Being a 'Veteran Preferred' candidate means employers actively seek individuals with military backgrounds due to their unique skills, such as leadership, adaptability, and teamwork.
