Description
The Program Manager oversee a designated portfolio of key customers and their production parts, organized by market sector. They are accountable for the success of each program throughout its lifecycle, measured by profit, cost, quality, and delivery. Acting as the central point of contact, Program Managers coordinate with both internal stakeholders and customer contacts, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all departments, facilities, and All Flex Solutions Centers of Excellence. This role reports directly to senior management.
Essential Job Duties
o Serve as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication across all program phases.
o Lead cross-functional coordination to support the successful execution of critical orders and new program implementations.
o Manage program progress across departments, maintaining oversight through the full lifecycle based on customer needs.
o Resolve issues proactively, driving actions and supporting resolutions throughout the program's duration.
o Provide input to sales and quoting processes regarding capabilities, risks, lead times, and costs.
o Facilitate cross-departmental meetings to communicate requirements, address readiness, and align on deliverables.
o Review and validate production documentation including non-standard designs, tooling, and work instructions prior to production.
o Coordinate with planning and operations to establish and monitor schedules, manage delays, and prioritize tasks.
o Communicate program status regularly to stakeholders, incorporating feedback, lessons learned, and improvement opportunities.
o Ensure compliance with quality standards, maintain confidentiality, and independently manage responsibilities while collaborating effectively.
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math or Science, or equivalent work experience.
Experience and/or Training
• Prefer 5-8 years of product and/or manufacturing experience with printed circuits, flexible heaters, or circuit board industry.
• Perform quality work within deadlines, with or without direct supervision.
• Knowledge and understanding of concepts, contents, and application of ISO 9000.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing, production, mechanical and quality concepts, including Lean Manufacturing, SPC, and Total QC.
• Must be a problem solver with an investigative spirit, attention to detail, well organized, and ability to question and work within a team environment.
• Must possess excellent communication skills in the English language - both written and verbal.
• Strong coaching and motivational skills.
• Must demonstrate tact and good judgement in handling difficult environments.
We offer a competitive salary in the $115,00-$130,000 range, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus and profit-sharing opportunities tied to performance.
