Job Description:
The Veterinary Education Support Team (VEST) provides custom instructional support services to faculty, staff, and students in the College of Veterinary Medicine.
VEST is seeking an Accessibility Student Assistant to help PVM faculty and staff ensure all course content is fully accessible to all students. This content may include documents, images, videos, and other digital materials.
Key Responsibilities

  • Format and remediate course documents, presentations, and multimedia to meet accessibility standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with faculty and staff to support instructional needs.
  • Manage sensitive course data and assessments with strict discretion and confidentiality.
  • Other duties may be assigned as logically determined.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student available to work 15-20 hours per week.
  • Must be comfortable working in an environment where animals may be encountered in the hallways or in offices (Lynn Hall).
  • Must complete all required Purdue University privacy and confidentiality certifications within the first week of employment.
Additional Information
  • Hours: 15-20 hours per week (must be worked on-site in Lynn Hall)
  • Reports To: Senior Instructional Designer, VEST
