Description
If you have a go-getter mentality, enjoy being out in the elements and know about Vermeer equipment, we want to talk to you! Vermeer All Roads is searching for an Underground Equipment Sales Rep (directional boring equipment, drills, vacuum trucks...) The ideal candidate has previous sales experience and a track record of success in durable goods/construction/industrial sales. You will sell Vermeer underground construction products and solutions. The successful candidate will follow-up on all sourced leads, develop a customer network, coordinate demonstrations, and maintain customer account information (Salesforce). 
 
Schedule & Compensation: Base salary plus commission with OTE of $100k+
Full time Monday-Friday hours with daily travel to customer sites (vehicle provided)

Responsibilities
  • Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve desired results/goals.
  • Track and manage sales opportunities across the assigned area - from initial inquiry through to order close.
  • Identify customer’s needs and react appropriately while understanding the market conditions and local competitors pricing.
  • Develop a networking list of potential clients and consistently contact them through in-person calls, phone, text and email.
  • Territory management – assure proper coverage of all customers and industries within assigned geographic area and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Key account management – be responsible for all customers in the territory. Be adept in dealing with Company owners, managers and field personnel.
  • Product Demonstrations – develop, schedule, conduct equipment demonstrations with customers
  • CRM – input and maintain customer accounts, opportunities and activities in Salesforce CRM software.
  • Ability to effectively work independently and remotely
