Vermeer Field Technician
Annapolis Junction, MD | Vermeer All Roads

If you enjoy traveling to customer sites and working independently, this opportunity is for you! Vermeer All Roads in Annapolis Junction is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair Vermeer and similar construction equipment on location. In this role, you’ll operate autonomously in the field, delivering safe, timely, and professional service while maintaining clear communication with customers and the Service team.

Compensation & Schedule
  • $25–$40/hour (based on experience)
  • Production bonuses available based on efficiency
  • Store hours: Mon–Fri, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities
  • Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment (field-based)
  • Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulic, electrical, and hydrostatic systems
  • Recommend repairs and prepare accurate cost estimates (CDK a plus)
  • Perform welding/fabrication as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed
  • Stay current with industry and technical advancements
  • Communicate with factory/OEM for technical support
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior hands-on experience with hydraulics and electrical systems
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (insurable by company carrier)
  • Ability to travel daily to customer locations
  • Positive attitude: ability to multitask and work efficiently
