Diesel Mechanic Technician (Vermeer)

Compensation & Schedule
  • $25 - $38 per hour based on experience
  • Monday - Friday full time (no nights or weekends)
  • Production bonuses available

Responsibilities

  • Service, repair & recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager
  • Diagnose malfunctions, experience in hydraulics and electrical trouble shooting needed
  • Recommend appropriate repairs and create accurate estimates, CDK a plus!
  • Performwelding/fabricationas needed
  • Maintain accurate, detailed records of all repairs performed
  • Communicate with the factory for technical assistance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Previous heavy equipment/diesel experience, hydraulics and electrical troubleshooting
  • Welding experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe, professional work
