Job description

Field Technician -Heavy Equipment 
Chichester, NH | Vermeer All Roads
 
Vermeer All Roads is opening a brand-new location in Chichester, NH, and we’re hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to join our team. Put your skills to work repairing Vermeer machinery and components in a timely manner. Depending on your level of expertise, you may work under direct supervision while building your skills and advancing your career.
 
Compensation & Schedule
  • Hourly pay: $30–$45 (based on experience)
  • Production bonuses available
  • Full-time schedule with flexibility – no nights or weekends

Responsibilities
  • Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager
  • Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic systems
  • Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
  • Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed
  • Stay current with industry trends and technical advancements
  • Communicate with the factory for technical support
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience with hydraulics, hydrostatics, and electrical troubleshooting
  • Welding experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
