Heavy Equipment Road Technician
Hopkinton, MA | Vermeer All Roads
Do you enjoy traveling to customer locations and using your mechanical skills to problem solve? Are you ready for a new challenge in a company where YOU matter? Vermeer All Roads in Hopkinton, MA wants to talk to you! We are hiring a Field Technician Mechanic to travel to customer locations and repair Vermeer machinery and components. Applicant must have a clean driving record and be insurable by our carrier.
Compensation & Schedule
  • Hourly pay: $28-$40 (based on experience)
  • Production bonuses available
  • Full-time schedule with flexibility - no nights or weekends

Responsibilities
  • Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager
  • Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic systems
  • Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
  • Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed
  • Stay current with industry trends and technical advancements
  • Communicate with the factory for technical support
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience with hydraulics, hydrostatics, and electrical troubleshooting
  • Welding experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Vermeer All Roads does not provide H1-B sponsorship)
