The Senior Director, Software Engineering leads the execution of complex engineering programs with a focus on AI/ML-enhanced solutions and cloud-native technologies. This role drives architectural integrity, software delivery excellence, and innovation across multiple technology stacks. Collaborating closely with product and program teams, the position shapes technical strategy, oversees AI-driven system design, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. The leader mentors senior engineers, ensures alignment with business objectives, and champions scalable, maintainable solutions that advance Walmart’s technology roadmap and operational goals.

The Data Venture Engineering team builds and manages a global platform focused on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence. The Senior Director of Software Engineering leads efforts to enhance system reliability and scalability, leveraging advanced technologies to build maintainable products efficiently.
