Light Duty Technician/Mechanic - Fort Lauderdale, FL

$24.00 - $32.00/hr | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits within 30 Days

Vector Fleet provides onsite, customized fleet maintenance solutions for clients in numerous states across the U.S. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, we manage multiple satellite operations at various contract sites across the country. Pay & Schedule 

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00/hour (based on experience) 

Pay Frequency: Weekly pay - every Friday 

Schedule: 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday

What You'll Do 

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light duty fleet vehicles 
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues 
  • Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards 
  • Accurately document repairs and complete work orders 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment 
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies 
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations 

What We're Looking For 

  •  3+ years' of hands-on experience performing automotive/light duty vehicle maintenance and repairs 
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills 
  • Valid driver's license 
  • Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role  
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team  
  • Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (detailed below)  
  • Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)
