Independent Contractor Role

Initio Sphere — Private Capital Ecosystem

https://initiosphere.org

Compensation: $200–$500/hour or transaction-based earnings, depending on scope, deal size, and advisory engagement

About Initio Sphere

Initio Sphere is a private capital ecosystem connecting capital and talent. We serve fund managers, investors, operators, and analysts through live deal flow, institutional frameworks, and curated relationships.

GP Advisory Partners are a cornerstone of our ecosystem, providing strategic, high-touch guidance to fund GPs, sponsors, and investors, while benefiting from earning opportunities and platform-driven credibility.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding GP Advisory Partners to provide strategic, operational, and capital-market guidance at the General Partner level.

This is not a traditional employment role. Advisors operate as independent contractors, activated through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, GP Advisory Partners:

Advise fund GPs on fund formation, capital strategy, LP engagement, and governance

Mentor analysts, deal scouts, and junior advisors, enhancing internal ecosystem capacity

Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure

Build a verified GP Advisory Track Record within the Initio Sphere ecosystem

This role is ideal for experienced fund executives, ex-investment bankers, PE/VC partners, or senior consultants with a proven record of fundraising, managing investor relationships, and leading investment initiatives.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved GP Advisory Partners may:

Advise GPs on capital strategy, fund structuring, LP relations, and fundraising positioning

Support sponsor-led deal structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy

Mentor analysts and deal scouts on modeling, diligence, and transaction execution

Provide portfolio advisory services, operational insights, and value creation guidance for fund investments

Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors, co-investors, and strategic partners

Note: Advisors focus on high-level fund and sponsor strategy. They do not perform day-to-day deal modeling unless separately approved.

Eligible Advisory Areas

Fund formation, capital raising, and LP communications

GP governance, investment committee strategy, and transaction oversight

Sponsor advisory for fund-backed deals and operational portfolio companies

Mentorship and technical training for analysts, scouts, and junior advisors

Investor relations, co-investor strategy, and network positioning

Approval is granted based on experience, GP-level track record, and demonstrated ability to advise on live fund operations.

Compensation & Deal Economics

Advisors are independent contractors

Hourly rates: $200–$500, based on experience, GP track record, and engagement scope

Transaction-based incentives may be earned for advisory on closed deals or fund milestones

Payments issued after successful completion of advisory milestones or deal closure

No cap on earning potential for consistent high-value contributions

How Advisors Get Activated

Submit a GP Advisory Partner application detailing fund experience, track record, and deal history

Complete verification and category approval

Get promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

Begin advising GPs, mentoring analysts and scouts, and participating in curated deals

This ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to high-impact fund opportunities.
