Work you'll do

As a Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation on the Cyber Digital Trust & Privacy team, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting clients in designing, implementing, and operating technology and process solutions to reduce data risks
  • Assisting clients with developing requirements, evaluating vendor solutions, architecting, implementing, and operating data security posture management solutions
  • Preparing work products, including requirements documents, use cases, design decisions, configuration workbooks, testing scripts, governance standards, and implementation roadmaps
  • Designing, configuring, testing, and supporting data security posture management capabilities such as data discovery, data classification, data access governance, posture management, and sensitive data remediation
  • Helping foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment
  • Staying current on industry trends in cyber risk, data protection, and emerging technologies

Required:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with data security posture management capabilities such as data discovery, data classification, data access governance, posture management, and sensitive data remediation
  • Experience with SharePoint Online and OneDrive security concepts, including permissions, sharing models, site governance, lifecycle management, and collaboration risk reduction, and experience performing assessments and remediation efforts across Microsoft 365 workloads
  • Experience gathering requirements, defining use cases, documenting solution designs, and supporting implementation or enhancement of data protection controls
  • Familiarity with change management, deployment, and operational processes in large IT organizations
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Ability to travel 25-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • One or more professional certifications such as SC-400, SC-900, AZ-500, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and technical troubleshooting, including PowerShell for reporting, validation, or operational support

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $82,600 to $162,800.
