Country Partners Cooperative is a full-service diversified agricultural cooperative in central Nebraska located in 20 communities, partnering with farmers and ranchers to accomplish more together.

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

This position is responsible for handling all aspects of energy operations, including but not limited to product delivery, warehouse management, setting equipment and customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following and others may be assigned)

Responsible for deliveries and handling for various energy products.

Will perform operations for various locations and departments within the company.

Complete tank wagon deliveries as needed for refined fuels and propane.

Ability to manage customer related issues.

Coordinate and communicate with sales personnel to complete customers deliveries and department operations efficiently, and on time.

Administers and controls credit within the associations established credit policy.

Maintains a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the Cooperative and a favorable image of the Cooperative.

Responsible for maintaining clean facilities and complying with all state and federal regulations pertaining to a safe workplace, housekeeping, and all activities that require regulation compliance.

Provides excellent customer service by managing difficult or emotional situations; respond promptly to customer needs, resolve questions, complaints, and concerns immediately and meet commitments.

Support operations for various locations and departments within the company.

Effectively communicates by verbal and written means with customers, employees, and management.

Maintains and promotes safety awareness; follows safety policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.

Presents a clean and professional appearance.

Employees are required to perform all other duties as directed by the supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

On-the-job training with existing operations director.

Ability to troubleshoot and identify problems.

Technical skills to use tools and equipment to analyze a system or component.

Effective communication skills to ensure good customer experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A with tanker, air brakes, and hazmat endorsements), or ability to acquire. Company approved driving record. Obtain various certifications related to energy products. Acquire and maintain certificates/licenses to handle and deliver propane and refined fuels.
