Valuations Associate

Our client, a leading Private Equity fund in Midtown Manhattan, is looking for a Valuations Associate to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Structured Products, including syndicated loans, high yield bonds, mezzanine debt, asset-based leasing, and private equity, and experience conducting DCG and comparable trade analysis on respective leveraged products.

You will...

  • Create, maintain, and utilize monthly and quarterly valuation models
  • Perform valuation analyses across the capital structure and prepare findings to the valuation committee
  • Liaise with the investment team and 3rd party independent valuation specialists
  • Support year-end valuation audit
  • Optimize efficiency and improve processes via ad-hoc projects

Qualifications:

  • 2-5+ yrs. in valuations
  • Experience with fixed-income products
  • Bachelor's degree
