Job description

Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Imaging Services Supervisor, you will provide patient care and assistance to the technologists working in all modalities. You will work collaboratively under the supervision of the Director and Manager of Imaging Services. What you will do in this role: 

  • Provide technical assistance for all diagnostic procedures, which include supply, equipment operation, monitoring, imaging, use of medical devices and interpretation of data
  • Scrub assist for diagnostic and interventional procedures, which includes preparation of supplies and instruments, preparation and maintenance of the sterile field, preparation and manipulation of cardiac catheters, guide-wires and devices
  • Documentation of procedures and patient information according to hospital policy
  • Injection of contrast median and medications from the sterile field as directed and supervised by the physician
  • Assist to coordinate procedure schedule as assigned
  • Assist with inventory control as directed by the supervisor/manager

What qualifications you will need: 

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
  • (ARRT-R) Radiography
  • Three years in clinical radiology required, experience in multiple modalities preferred
