Senior Program Manager (VA Program)
Location: Falls Church, VA
Summary:
3 Reasons Consulting is seeking a Senior Program Manager to serve as the Senior PgM for the VA Program. This role provides senior-level program leadership and oversight across execution, governance, and performance management activities. The Senior Program Manager will coordinate program delivery, manage cross-functional priorities, and ensure alignment across schedule, budget, cyber/security concerns, and reporting requirements, including Quarterly Program Reviews (QPRs).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Senior Program Manager (PgM) for the VA Program
  • Oversee overall program execution, governance, and delivery performance
  • Manage and coordinate implementation schedules and milestone tracking
  • Facilitate cyber and security-related program concerns and coordination efforts
  • Lead preparation and execution of Quarterly Program Reviews (QPRs)
  • Oversee program budget planning, tracking, and execution oversight
  • Coordinate across multiple workstreams and functional teams
  • Ensure alignment between program scope, schedule, budget, and objectives
  • Monitor program risks, dependencies, and performance indicators
  • Support executive reporting and stakeholder communications
  • Facilitate program governance meetings and decision-making forums
  • Drive accountability and execution consistency across program teams
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Management, IT, or related field
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to successfully pass a federal government background investigation
  • 10 + years of program or project management experience
  • Experience managing large-scale federal or enterprise programs
  • Strong background in program governance, scheduling, and budget oversight
  • Experience coordinating across technical, operational, and stakeholder teams
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP or PgMP certification
  • Experience supporting VA or federal healthcare programs
  • Experience managing cybersecurity or information assurance considerations in programs
  • Strong experience with executive reporting and QPR facilitation
