VA Case Managers are professionals who coordinate and manage care for veterans within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare system. They assess veterans' needs, develop care plans, and connect them with appropriate medical, mental health, and social services. VA Case Managers act as advocates, ensuring veterans receive comprehensive, timely, and personalized support to improve their quality of life. Their role often involves collaboration with healthcare providers, families, and community resources to address the unique challenges faced by veterans.

How does a VA case manager typically collaborate with healthcare providers to support veterans' needs?

VA Case Managers work closely with doctors, nurses, mental health professionals, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care for veterans. They regularly communicate with these providers to assess veterans’ needs, develop individualized care plans, and ensure that services such as medical appointments, therapy, and community resources are seamlessly integrated. This collaborative approach helps VA Case Managers address both the medical and psychosocial aspects of a veteran’s well-being, making teamwork and strong communication skills essential for success in this role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a VA case manager, and why are they important?

Job description

Company Description
American Nationwide Mortgage Company was established 22 years ago. Our company's mission is to provide the borrower in obtaining the lowest possible rate while maintaining the highest expectation of service and customer satisfaction. We know that great rates are not enough. As a result we provide an exceptionally high level of service and strive to distinguish ourselves as a leader in the industry.
Job Description
ANMC is a rapidly growing, financially stable mortgage bank based in Tampa, FL with a 22 year track record of success. We pay some of the best commissions in the industry for your self-generated loans and our rates are very attractive so you won't lose deals.
You can earn up to 400 basis points per loan ($12,000 on just one 300k loan) by becoming a branch manager with us.

You can work from home and wouldn't have to manage anyone unless you decide to hire loan officers.
Most lenders require high loan volume to get paid these kinds of commissions. We're ok if you just close loan per month as long as you have the experience.
This is a great opportunity to dramatically increase your income and earn what you deserve as an experienced loan officer (must have your state license to be considered). We don't micro manage anyone, this is like running your own business.
Our underwriters get your loans closed in a fast, efficient manner which will increase your referral business. We can close loans in as little as 2 weeks from app to closing on clean submitted files.
We offer:
* Top commissions paid-earn 2-3 times more than the national average
* Quick underwriting turn times, 24-48 hours
* Full product line with multiple investors-FHA, VA, Conv, USDA, Reverse, Jumbos, 203k etc
* No Agency overlays-we go by AUS findings
* Great rates which help increase referral business from realtors and builders
* Licensed in 29 states with more being added as needed
* Bank FHA/VA down to 600 Fico
* Close and fund forward and reverse mortgages as a direct lender
* Non-disclosure of YSP
* Weekly payroll every Friday
* Corp to branch direct pricing with no layers of managers taking a cut of your commission
* Ability to broker loans for niche products such as bank statement only programs
* Branch management web-based system gives you full access 24/7 from initial application to funding to payroll and accounting
* Direct email to an underwriter for fast answers on loan scenarios
* Every branch is assigned a production specialist to help you with advertising and marketing, pricing, HR, accounting, and compliance
* You have the advantage of a state of the art pricing engine for fast, best case pricing every time
* Benefits available including health, life and disability insurance along with a 401k plan
* Fast, easy transition process with an online orientation with a branch specialist
Must be an experienced, licensed loan officer who has closed a loan within the last 60 days. This is a highly commissioned position to reward loan officers who self-generate their own loans.
Please respond with your resume for immediate consideration. All information will be kept confidential and we never contact your current employer.
Qualifications
-Must have appropriate state loan officer license
-Must have at least two years experience self-generating loans
Additional Information
All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
