RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Senior Level UX Writer.
Overview:
We are seeking a Senior level UX Writer/Content Designer to create high-quality, high-performing digital content. This role plays a critical part in enabling innovative, cohesive, and compliant digital experiences that support members, member service representatives, and business partners. The Senior UX Writer independently applies human-centered design, content design principles, omnichannel content strategy, SEO best practices, accessibility guidelines, and brand and style standards to deliver holistic digital experiences that solve member problems and help achieve business outcomes. A strong UX writing portfolio demonstrating senior-level impact is required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Independently create and execute high-quality UX content for webpages, applications, and quote flows on the company website
* Design holistic digital content experiences that are user-centered, compliant, and aligned with business goals
* Apply human-centered design, user testing insights, and content design best practices to inform content decisions
* Ensure content aligns with the brand, accessibility requirements, SEO standards, and style guidelines
* Perform advanced editorial review for clarity, tone, accuracy, logic, and usability-often under tight deadlines
* Translate complex business requirements into clear, intuitive, and actionable user-facing content
* Collaborate closely with product teams, designers, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders
* Contribute to omnichannel content strategy across digital touchpoints
* Incorporate feedback effectively while exercising strong independent judgment
* Deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment, frequently within 1-3 days, based on complexity
REQUIREMENTS:
* 6+ years of experience with User Experience Writing or Content Design
* 6+ years of experience with SEO, AP Style, and Style Guide
* Proven experience collaborating with design teams and subject matter experts to create effective user experiences
* Exceptional ability to write clear, concise, and conversational content for digital products
* Strong experience aligning messaging to business goals and accessibility best practices
* Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment
* Advanced written and verbal communication, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
* Highly organized and adaptable, with a strong ownership mindset
Hands-on experience with:
* Figma
* SEMRush
* Microsoft Word
Daily Use of Figma Includes:
* Editing text directly within components, frames, modals, and prototypes
* Navigating design panels and complex layer structures
* Modifying font styles (size, weight, bullets, etc.)
* Editing component-level copy and variants
* Reviewing and managing version history
* Configuring components in alignment with design system standards
Preferred Qualifications:
* Financial Services industry UX or digital writing experience
* Experience using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
* Familiarity with AI prompt writing
* Experience building pages and flows using design system components
* Strong understanding of component variants and how to edit them in Figma or AEM
* Prior copywriting or SEO-focused writing experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
