Sr. UX Writer
Location: San Antonio, Texas (Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Sr. UX Writer to create high-quality, user-centered digital content that enables cohesive and compliant experiences. This role focuses on developing content for digital landing pages and user journeys, helping prospective members understand products, eligibility, and benefits. The ideal candidate will combine content strategy and UX writing with design execution in Figma, collaborating with design and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define page requirements and create clear, user-focused content for digital landing pages and member acquisition experiences, such as eligibility, onboarding, and product bundling.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end page content, including headlines, body copy, and microcopy.
  • Lay out pages in Figma using established AEM patterns and design systems; this includes selecting components and editing elements like buttons and headers.
  • Write microcopy for user flows, ensuring clarity and usability.
  • Collaborate with design teams to refine layouts and optimize page structure using pre-built design system elements.
  • Apply human-centered design principles, user testing feedback, and content design principles to improve content.
  • Ensure all content adheres to SEO best practices, accessibility standards (WCAG), and brand guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, or digital content strategy, preferably in a large enterprise environment. Experience creating digital landing pages and conversion-focused content is necessary.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Figma is required, including navigating design files, editing components, and building pages using a design system. A strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles, content strategy, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards (WCAG) is also required.
Certifications: A UX Writing or UX Content Certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Background in the financial services or insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with microcopy development for user flows and transactional experiences.
  • An accessibility certification (WCAG) is helpful.
  • AI prompting or content automation experience is helpful.
