UWC Media Intern (Fall)
Job no: 493570

Pay Range: Targeted salary of $11/hr, based on education and experience.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with some weekends and evenings as needed.
Travel: Not required
Position Introduction:
The United World College (UWC) Scholars Program at OU supports the recruitment and retention of UWC Davis Scholars at the University of Oklahoma. Over 300 UWC Davis Scholars are enrolled at OU and represent 18 UWC campuses around the world and 100+ countries. The UWC Scholars Program staff work collaboratively with different areas of the university and the Davis United World College Program to support UWC scholars' academic growth, student life experience and coordinate their scholarships.
Digital Media Intern Duties & Responsibilities:
  • This position will be primarily responsible for creating digital content (videos, photos, flyers, etc.) for recruitment, current student events, and other related projects.
  • Graphic design, videography, video/photo editing, social media management skills preferred.
  • Specific Knowledge/Skills Preferred: Creative Media Production or Visual Communications are preferred majors or experiential knowledge in photography/videography and graphic design.
  • Please submit a link to a portfolio website or a portfolio of at least 8-10 items with your application as "Additional Documents" or in the resume file. Any videos can be submitted with links. Portfolios of your work up to date including photos, videos, other creative visual content and graphics/infographics showcasing your style and skills.
  • This position will occasionally assist with administrative and general office tasks, provide assistance and support in the UWC offices to students, assist with UWC and International Admissions programming, preparing and packing admission boxes, and other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
  • Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

  • Maintain confidentiality with student information.
