Your role and responsibilities

IBM Consulting is currently looking for talented, experienced individuals to help drive expansion, innovation and client satisfaction across our growing business for Finance & Procurement Operations. The Industrial & Communications sector team is seeking a talented Client Solution Executive (CSE) to be responsible for selling and closing Finance & Procurement business process outsourcing (BPO) deals. The CSE is to act as the senior client sales leader on new sales opportunities, managing all aspects of the sales pursuit process including deal origination, sales strategy, contract negotiations, and client relationships. A strong background in business development and sales in the Finance or Procurement domains is a must for all candidates.

As a deal leader in Consulting Services, you will drive and scale transformational propositions through deal progression and closure within strategic clients and across the breadth of IBM Consulting's capabilities. You will work with C-suite-level clients to progress and close large, strategic sales engagements. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Drive Deal Progression: Leverage a growth mindset to progress and close large, strategic sales engagements, including the development of a winning business and technical solution, commercial proposal, and financial business case.

  • Develop Strategic Propositions: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop transformational propositions that drive business value and growth.

  • Maximize Deal Conversion: Utilize best practices, competitive strategies, and professional networks to drive maximum deal conversion and meet business objectives.

  • Deliver Client Value: Work closely with C-suite-level clients to deliver tailored solutions that meet their unique needs and drive business outcomes.

  • Scale Business Growth: Identify opportunities to scale business growth within strategic clients and develop strategies to pursue these opportunities.

This job can be performed from anywhere in the US.

Required technical and professional expertise

The Client Solution Executive (CSE) is expected to have an understanding the dynamics of the industry, corporations, strategies and operations and apply this knowledge to developing and closing new BPO business. You must have a demonstrated ability to develop a portfolio of client sales opportunities and close new business.

• Transformational Proposition Development: Deep expertise in developing and scaling transformational propositions in Finance or Procurement, BPO and performing consultative selling.

• Strategic Sales Engagement: Proven experience in progressing and closing large, strategic sales engagements, including the development of a winning business and technical solution, commercial proposal, and financial business case.

• C-Suite-Level Collaboration: Experience working with C-suite-level clients to deliver tailored solutions that meet their unique needs and drive business outcomes, with a deep understanding of their needs and expectations.

• Competitive Strategies and Networking: Deep expertise in utilizing best practices, competitive strategies, and professional networks to drive maximum deal conversion and meet business objectives.

• Business Growth Strategy Development: Experience in identifying opportunities to scale business growth within strategic clients and developing strategies to pursue these opportunities.
