Job description

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is one of New Jersey’s largest non-profit social service agencies with programs and facilities serving Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Union counties.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Case Manager for our LIHEAP/USF Outreach program in Newark, NJ.

Job Duties:

  • Develops relationships with local social services and public benefit agencies, shelters and faith-based and community-based organizations serving low-income, at risk and homeless families
  • Participates in conferences, workshops, special projects, and staff meetings
  • Helps individuals and families to apply and obtain LIHEAP/USF benefits
  • Provides outreach sessions, visit buildings, agencies and other locations where client can be helped 
  • Manages time and works independently

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 1 year of related social service experience
  • Valid NJ driver's license
  • Bilingual preferred
