Description
RiVidium is seeking a UX Researcher / Usability Testing Lead to support our planned MODES III team supporting Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). This role supports Outreach & Engagement Services and helps deliver mission-focused outcomes for service members, families, and related stakeholders. Conducts PWS C.5.2 usability research and journey mapping; integrates user testing insights into digital performance optimization (C.5.2.3.5). This position is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead usability testing and user research efforts that inform strategic digital improvements.
  • Capture findings, pain points, and recommendations from user behavior and feedback.
  • Translate research results into actionable guidance for designers, developers, and stakeholders.
  • Support a continuous-improvement approach grounded in evidence and end-user experience.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Relevant experience aligned to the role and labor category; openings may be filled at Lead (15+ yrs).
  • Ability to satisfy applicable Government personnel security requirements for the assigned role and work with sensitive but unclassified information.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills in a mission-focused delivery environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting public sector, defense, or mission-focused digital communications programs.
  • Familiarity with audience analytics, user-centered design, accessibility, and content performance measurement.
  • Experience collaborating across content, design, stakeholder engagement, social media, and campaign teams.

Work Setting
This role is expected to support work in the Alexandria, Virginia area, with on-site support at the DoD Mark Center or other customer-approved locations as required. Hybrid support in the Alexandria, Virginia area is expected, with on-site support as required by the customer.
