User Acceptance Testing Analyst

Motion is seeking a detail-oriented and business-minded User Acceptance Testing Analyst to help ensure high-quality releases across our B2B eCommerce platform.

In this role, you will:

  • Play a vital role in shaping high-impact digital customer experiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic Agile environment
  • Work on complex, enterprise-level B2B systems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation

You will validate complex customer workflows, partner closely with Product, UX, Development, and business stakeholders, and ensure seamless end-to-end customer journeys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive User Acceptance Testing plans, test scenarios, and test cases for new features and enhancements.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Requirements Analysts, Developers, UX, and business stakeholders to validate business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Validate end-to-end customer journeys, including:
    • Product search and navigation
    • Customer-specific pricing
    • Shopping cart and checkout
    • Order placement and order history
    • Returns and account management
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Azure DevOps through resolution.
  • Validate integrations across ERP, inventory, pricing, payment, shipping, tax, and product information systems.
  • Coordinate UAT activities with business users and facilitate release readiness and production sign-off.
  • Analyze production issues, reproduce defects, and collaborate on root cause analysis.
  • Ensure traceability between business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases within Azure DevOps.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing or Business Systems Testing
  • Experience supporting B2B eCommerce platforms with complex customer workflows
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Order management
    • Customer-specific pricing
    • Inventory availability
    • Shipping and fulfillment processes
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (user stories, test cases, defect management, release validation)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Prophet 21 (P21)
  • Experience with PIM, CMS platforms, or search technologies
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple releases in a fast-paced Agile environment

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • B2B distribution, industrial supply, manufacturing, wholesale, or MRO industry experience
  • Testing customer-specific catalogs, contract pricing, branch inventory, and procurement workflows
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Power BI
  • Experience with feature flags, phased rollouts, and release management
