QA Testing Analyst | Columbus, Ohio, United States Job Summary: QA Testing Analyst (Data Lake & Data Warehouse) - Contract to Hire Location: Columbus, OH (Remote flexibility considered) About the Role Huntington Bank is urgently seeking a QA Testing Analyst to lead automation initiatives within our Data Lake and Data Warehouse team. You will drive the transformation of our quality assurance processes, ensuring robust data integration and regulatory compliance in a modern, high-impact banking environment. Join us to leverage your expertise, collaborate with top-tier professionals, and help shape the future of data-driven banking. Responsibilities - Lead quality assurance efforts for multiple concurrent data ingestion and integration projects, focusing on regulatory alignment and data integrity. - Design, implement, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines that support secure and efficient data operations. - Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including data engineers, developers, project managers, and compliance-to drive data quality and traceability. - Analyze data, troubleshoot complex data issues, and create actionable plans to address data quality concerns. - Generate daily and weekly test execution metrics and status reports for stakeholders. - Drive continuous improvement by streamlining manual processes and championing test automation adoption. - Assist project managers/scrum masters in driving defect resolution and managing offshore QA activities. - Participate in requirement reviews, data mapping analysis, defect triage, and production implementation verification. Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor's degree - 5+ years of ETL testing experience in a data warehouse environment - 3+ years of test automation experience - 2+ years of experience with Snowflake and AWS - 2+ years leading QA analysts on project teams - Strong expertise in SQL validation, backend testing, and data warehouse concepts (EDW, star/snowflake schema, OLAP) - Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) or Jira for test management Preferred Skills - Experience in financial services or banking industry - Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, PyTest, DBT tests - Familiarity with cloud data solutions (Snowflake, AWS S3) - Exposure to DataStage, Zena - Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills Benefits - Opportunity to convert to full-time and advance your career in a leading financial institution - Work on high-visibility, strategic projects impacting the future of banking data - Collaborative and innovative team environment focused on learning and continuous improvement - Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge data and cloud technologies How to Apply If you are passionate about data quality and automation, and ready to lead QA initiatives in a fast-paced environment, apply today to join Huntington Bank's Data Lake and Data Warehouse team.
