Overview
We are seeking a thoughtful and highly collaborative UX Designer to help shape exceptional user experiences across a suite of product platforms. In this role, you will take ownership of day-to-day UX project work, driving design execution from concept through delivery while ensuring consistency, usability, and alignment with business goals. You will partner closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate user needs and insights into intuitive, engaging experiences that elevate our products and deliver real value to users.
This is a hybrid role based out of Sun Prairie, WI.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and research teams to ensure system adoption and technical feasibility.
  • Balance consistency and flexibility to support diverse product needs while maintaining brand alignment.
  • Drive cross-platform consistency across mobile applications, embedded systems, and related digital experiences.
  • Advocate for user-centered design practices and measurable UX outcomes.
  • Monitor usage of metrics and feedback to continuously improve the system and its adoption.
  • Serve as a strategic partner in planning future UX architecture and platform expansion.
  • Own usability planning, testing, insight development, and documentation.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, interaction design, computer science or relevant field from a four-year college or university.
  • 5+ years of related UX Design experience, preferably in in manufacturing.
  • Deep understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual systems.
  • Expertise in design system architecture and component-driven design.
  • Knowledge of responsive, adaptive, and platform-specific design patterns.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
  • Understanding of front-end technologies and how design translates to code (e.g., design tokens, component libraries).
  • Experience designing multiple device ecosystems, including mobile and embedded interfaces.
  • Awareness of modern UX research and usability testing methods.
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration ability.
  • Advanced proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma, adobe products, especially illustrator & photoshop).
  • Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive systems.
  • Strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution.
  • Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
  • Strong prioritization and decision-making in fast-moving environments.
