Job description

Techstaff currently has an exceptional opportunity for a senior Architect experienced in large-scale hospitality projects.
Duties:
  • Work with the Design Director(s) and project team(s) on conceptual designs, presentations, design development, and production.
  • Manage all phases of the design process.
  • Innovative thinking, along with the ability to present real-world solutions to new design challenges.
  • Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination.
  • Must thrive with personal responsibility and accountability, but embody and embrace open communication and team-oriented success.
  • Possess professional poise and polish, and demonstrate versatile approaches to myriad issues and personality types.
  • Be a leader among peers, and mentor to others.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelors' Degree in Architecture.
  • 10+ years of experience in large-scale hospitality (hotels, resorts, casinos, etc.) projects.
  • Strong skills inprogramming, planning and architectural design.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to problem solve both individually and as a part of a project team.
  • Proficiency in the use of 3D software, including Revit, 3D Studio MAX and Sketchup.
  • Knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and building codes.
  • Strong organizations skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Strong graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas.
