Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

Our growing team is looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join our growing team!

What you'll do here:

  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary teams: Work closely with product, design, and data teams (web analytics, business intelligence, and marketing research) to: 1/identify information gaps; 2/create and manage your research roadmap, and more broadly; 3/ensure the entire design and development process is user-centered.

  • Lead user research: Plan, design, and conduct user research studies to gather deep insights into users' needs, behaviors, and motivations.

  • Analyze and synthesize data: Analyze qualitative and quantitative data collected during research and synthesize findings to deliver strong strategic recommendations that account for technological constraints.

  • Produce reports and presentations: Communicate research results clearly and concisely through detailed reports and presentations to influence decision-making and guide design strategies.

  • Stay on top of tools and methods: Keep up to date with the latest trends, best practices, and tools in user research and user experience (UX).

  • Mentor: Mentor junior researchers by sharing your knowledge and accelerating the development of the skills needed to conduct effective research.

  • Champion a culture of excellence and UX: Advocate for the importance of user research and UX across the organization by operationalizing the full range of methods offered by the team.

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in user research.

  • Mastery of user research methods (qualitative and quantitative): usability testing, semi-structured interviews, comparative studies, card sorting (open and closed), longitudinal studies (e.g., diary studies), surveys, focus groups, and facilitation of co-creation workshops.

  • Industry knowledge (asset).

  • Proficiency with research tools such as usertesting.com, Optimal Workshop, Qualtrics, Dovetail, etc. (asset).

  • Proficiency in statistical methods (asset).

  • Rigor-we strive for excellence to help our digital products overperform.

  • Business performance orientation: tracking KPIs, analyzing market trends, etc.

  • Strategic thinking in user experience and business.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present findings at the executive level.

  • Team player, strong collaboration skills, openness to feedback.

  • Proactive attitude; able to work autonomously and handle ambiguity.

  • Bilingualism (French and English) - Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
