As a User Experience Advisor - UX Research, you will leverage your passion for UX research and design to help shape the digital tools used by insurance and savings advisors, enhancing the user experience while supporting business performance. In this cross-functional role, you will collaborate with and influence multiple teams across the Individual Insurance, Savings and Retirement business line.

What You Will Accomplish With Us

As a User Experience Advisor - UX Research, you will play a key role in defining digital experiences while supporting the implementation and evolution of user research practices within the Individual Insurance, Savings and Retirement Advisor and Customer Experience Strategy team. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing, managing, and evolving a structured user research practice, including participant recruitment, planning, facilitation, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Supporting stakeholders in defining research needs and objectives, in close collaboration with UX designers, digital experience strategists and advisors, and business teams.
  • Planning and conducting generative (discovery) research and evaluative research to validate concepts and solutions through UX testing.
  • Applying a variety of research methods, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, card sorting, tree testing, A/B testing and experimentation, field observation, focus groups, and more.
  • Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, synthesizing findings, and providing clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Communicating research findings to influence decision-making and guide design strategies.
  • Contributing to the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of web analytics dashboards.
  • Helping build and maintain a user knowledge repository, including insights, personas, journey maps, and key learnings.
  • Contributing to the adoption of emerging trends, best practices, and tools related to user research and user experience (UX).
  • Supporting UX design activities, including ideation workshops, user journey mapping, low-fidelity wireframing, prototyping, and more.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is recognized for their ability to analyze, structure, and synthesize complex data into clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrates strong expertise in qualitative and quantitative user research methods, including usability testing, semi-structured interviews, card sorting, tree testing, A/B testing, experimentation, field observation, and focus groups.
  • Shows a high level of autonomy in managing end-to-end UX research projects.
  • Is known for strong collaboration skills, positive influence, and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Has a solid understanding of UX design principles, including accessibility, usability heuristics, information architecture, user-centred design, user journeys, prototyping, and usability testing.
  • Demonstrates autonomy, proactivity, and initiative.
  • Has experience using web analytics tools.
  • Possesses a minimum of five (5) years of experience in qualitative and quantitative UX research, ideally in a B2B or B2B2C environment involving digital tools for professionals in financial services, insurance, or other specialized industries (portals, internal tools, transactional platforms, case management solutions, etc.).
  • Has an intermediate level of English proficiency, as the role requires conducting user testing sessions with unilingual English-speaking participants from brokerage networks and agencies several times per week.
