POSITION SUMMARY

The Product Owner – Enterprise Applications (PO) is responsible for supporting business unit technology assets, business applications, user access, licensing, and day-to-day application support needs. This role acts as a primary support contact for business unit hardware and software issues, coordinates escalations with internal IT teams and vendors, and assists with the onboarding of new business applications such as ERP systems, OCR platforms, Salesforce, and other operational software. This position helps ensure business users have the equipment, application access, and support needed to perform their daily work efficiently and securely.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and maintain accurate records for business unit technology assets, including tablets, printers, docking stations, monitors, scanners, and other end user technology equipment.
  • Track asset assignments, changes, replacements, repairs, and life-cycle status.
  • Assist with hardware onboarding, offboarding, refresh planning, and inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate asset needs with internal IT, procurement, vendors, and business leadership.
  • Provide help desk support for business applications used by the business unit.
  • Assist users with access issues, application errors, basic troubleshooting, and workflow questions.
  • Escalate application issues to internal IT teams, software owners, or vendors when needed.
  • Track support issues and follow up through resolution.
  • Help document common application issues, support steps, and user procedures.
  • Manage user onboarding and offboarding activities related to business software.
  • Coordinate new user access, role changes, license assignments, and license removals.
  • Maintain application user lists and assist with periodic access reviews.
  • Help ensure software licensing is accurate, cost effective, and aligned with business needs.
  • Work with managers and system owners to verify users have the correct access based on job function.
  • Provide support for tablets, printers, scanners, PCs, and related business unit equipment.
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware, connectivity, printing, and application access issues.
  • Coordinate repairs, replacements, warranty claims, and vendor support when required.
  • Support mobile and shop floor technology used in warehouse, operations, sales, or business workflows.
  • Assist with the onboarding and implementation of new business applications.
  • Support projects involving systems such as ERP platforms, OCR software, Salesforce, vendor portals, workflow tools, reporting systems, and other business applications.
  • Help gather business requirements, user needs, access requirements, licensing needs, and support requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal IT, vendors, business stakeholders, and project teams during application rollout.
  • Assist with testing, documentation, user readiness, and post go-live support.
  • Act as a liaison between business users, internal IT teams, and external software vendors.
  • Open, track, and follow up on vendor support tickets.
  • Ensure escalated issues are communicated clearly and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Help identify recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES (Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting business applications, end user hardware, and business technology processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for software, tablets, printers, PCs, and common business systems.
  • Experience with user onboarding, offboarding, license assignment, and access management.
  • Ability to communicate with business users, IT teams, vendors, and leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track assets, tickets, licenses, and open issues.
  • Ability to document support procedures, application notes, and common issue resolutions.
  • Understanding of business workflows and how applications support daily operations.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES (Preferred)

  • Experience supporting ERP systems, OCR software, Salesforce, warehouse systems, or other enterprise applications.
  • Experience with IT asset management, software licensing, and vendor support coordination.
  • Experience working with tablets, label printers, scanners, and operational technology.
  • Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems, application administration, and access reviews.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity, user access controls, and software governance
