Position Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Lead Closing Coordinator to oversee and support the closing process for mobile home sales across our portfolio. This role will lead closing operations, ensure compliance with title and documentation requirements, and serve as a key liaison between sales teams, communities, lenders, and buyers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of mobile home sales, title processing, and community operations, along with the ability to manage multiple transactions and guide a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the end-to-end closing process for manufactured/mobile home transactions
• Coordinate with sales teams, community managers, lenders, and buyers to ensure timely and accurate closings
• Review and process all transaction documents, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations
• Handle title transfers, VIN verification, and ownership documentation for mobile homes
• Troubleshoot title issues, liens, and discrepancies to keep transactions on track
• Maintain accurate records within internal systems (e.g., Rent Manager or similar platforms)
• Oversee closing timelines and ensure deadlines are met across multiple properties and states
• Train, mentor, and support closing coordinators or team members as needed
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
• Communicate proactively with all parties to resolve issues and provide status updates
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in mobile home, manufactured housing, real estate closings, or title processing
• Strong understanding of title work, lien releases, and ownership transfer processes (multi-state experience a plus)
• Experience working within mobile home communities or property management operations preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple transactions in a high-volume environment
• Familiarity with systems such as Rent Manager, CRM platforms, or closing/title software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Leadership experience or ability to step into a lead role and guide a team
