On a daily basis, you might conduct field inspections, collect and analyze samples, prepare detailed reports, and interact with farmers, businesses, or other government agencies. You may also participate in outreach or education programs to help stakeholders understand important agricultural policies. Collaboration is key, as you’ll often work alongside scientists, veterinarians, inspectors, and administrative staff to ensure the safety and security of America’s agricultural resources.
