Description
About Wenatchee Golf & Country Club
Founded in 1923, Wenatchee Golf & Country Club is a private, member-owned 18-hole club nestled in the heart of the Wenatchee Valley. We take pride in being more than a golf course. We are a close-knit team driven by a shared spirit of service, working together every day to create an exceptional experience for our members and their guests. When you join our staff, you join a group of people who genuinely enjoy what they do, support one another, and understand that everything we do is in service of our membership. If you take pride in your work and like seeing the direct impact of a job done well, you will feel right at home here.
Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Clubhouse Maintenance team member to help keep our facilities clean, functional, and ready for members and events. This role blends janitorial work, light handy work, and event setup and teardown, both indoors and outdoors. It is a great fit for a self-starter who stays busy, notices the details, and takes ownership of their work without needing to be told what to do next. Because we are a club, our busiest times are often evenings, weekends, and holidays, so flexibility is essential.
This is a part-time position with hours that vary by season. For the right person, there is a real opportunity to move into a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform janitorial and general cleaning services throughout the clubhouse and surrounding facilities
  • Complete small handy work and minor repairs using hand tools
  • Set up and tear down for club events, both indoor and outdoor
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members, guests, and staff
  • Respond to facility needs as they arise and follow through on tasks independently
  • Support the broader team wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly
What We're Looking For
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in a job well done
  • Experience using small hand tools and comfort with light handy work
  • A self-starter who is task-oriented and works well with minimal supervision
  • Willingness and availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Ability to work on your feet and handle physical tasks both indoors and outdoors in varying weather
  • A positive, team-first attitude and a genuine desire to serve our membership
Schedule
Part-time, 25 to 35 hours per week, with hours fluctuating based on the season and club event calendar. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed.
Requirements
Required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
  • Experience using small hand tools and performing light handy work or repairs
  • Reliable transportation to and from the club
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred
  • Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, facilities, or general maintenance work
  • Prior experience with event setup and teardown
  • Familiarity with basic cleaning equipment, products, and safety practices
  • Previous experience in a hospitality, club, or member-service environment
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and climb for extended periods throughout a shift
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and wind
  • Comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and moving tables, chairs, and event equipment
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to safely operate small hand tools and cleaning equipment
  • Ability to safely use ladders or step stools for light overhead work
Other Requirements
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and team-oriented attitude toward members, guests, and fellow staff
  • Follow all club policies, safety guidelines, and procedures
  • Represent Wenatchee Golf & Country Club in a positive and respectful manner at all times
