Location: San Jose, CA 95134

PR Range: $50/hr - $56/hr on W2
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to support the implementation of our Tagetik Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform, with a primary focus on Consolidation and Financial Reporting. This role will lead and execute user acceptance testing (UAT), validate accounting and reporting requirements, and partner closely with Finance, IT, and external implementation teams to ensure a successful deployment.
The ideal candidate combines strong accounting and consolidation knowledge with hands-on experience in financial systems implementations and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for Tagetik Consolidation and Reporting modules.
Develop and execute test scenarios, test scripts, and test cases covering:
Consolidation processes
Intercompany eliminations
Foreign currency translation and revaluation
Financial statement reporting
Journal entry processing
Ownership and organizational changes
Validate system calculations and outputs against business requirements and existing reporting processes.
Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, working closely with implementation consultants and IT teams.
Support system integration testing, data validation, and reconciliation activities.
Partner with accounting, FP&A, tax, and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure end-to-end process alignment.
Assist with test planning, cutover activities, and production readiness assessments.
Develop testing documentation, process documentation, and training materials as needed.
Provide recommendations for process improvements and future system enhancements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, or financial systems implementation.
Strong understanding of:
Financial consolidations
Intercompany eliminations
Foreign currency translation
US GAAP financial reporting
Month-end and quarter-end close processes
Previous experience supporting ERP or EPM implementations and UAT activities.
Experience with Tagetik, SAP Group Reporting, Hyperion, OneStream, or similar consolidation tools is highly preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA or equivalent professional certification. OPTIONAL
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Group Reporting.
Prior experience in system implementations, transformation projects, or public company reporting environments.
Experience creating and executing structured testing methodologies and defect management processes.
