Location:  Positions are available to work with elementary, middle or high school students in all 14 Salina school buildings.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass a background check and health screenings.
Physical Requirements:
Varies based on assignment.  Some positions require the ability to engage in physically demanding tasks like lifting, crouching, and walking.
Other Requirements:   Must enjoy working with special needs students!  Strong communication and interpersonal skills. In addition to a high school diploma or equavalent, must obtain a passing score on the state paraeducator assessment, or have completed a minimum of 48 college credit hours.  Pre-employment criminal background check and TB screening required.
Pay Rate: $14.11 per hour.
Schedule: School year position - all student attendance days. Full or part time schedules available.
Benefits:   Full time employees are eligible for BCBS health insurance. KPERS retirement.
