Come join our team! East Coast Lumber is seeking Equipment Center Sales Associates for full-time positions. 
 
About Us: East Coast Lumber is a full-service professional lumber yard and building supply company located in East Hampstead, NH that has been family owned and operated since 1976. By supplying local builders, remodelers, and homeowners with all their building needs, we have become a preferred supplier of lumber and building materials, kitchen & bath products, builder’s hardware, millwork, and equipment sales, rentals, and service.
 
 
General Requirements:
·         Must be legal to work in the United States and be over 18 years old.
·         Ability to work on your feet for 8hr. shift
·         Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, in English.
·         Need to have excellent phone, computer, and organizational skills. This is a  technical position with administrative duties.
·         Must be able to lift 50lbs.
·         Ability to look-up replacement parts for tools and equipment. For both shop repairs and walkout customers.
·         Experience or exposure to retail sales, tools, and equipment (either in sales or in the field) would be helpful, not required.
·         Available and willing to work at least 1 weekend day per week and some evenings until 7pm
 
 
Duties include but are not limited to:
·         Operating a Point-Of-Sale system to sell products, process rental payments and maintain special orders or service orders.
·         Self-teaching of product features and benefits, safe use, and sales techniques during down time.
·         Operating our rental system to create or maintain rental reservations and contracts.
·         Assisting customers with product location and selection, in person or on the phone.
·         Restocking shelves, cleaning, and organizing products on the floor.
·         Generate Service orders and coordinate pickup and delivery of customer equipment.
