Position Overview: Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is looking for a full-time Mammography Technologist to join an Imaging Office at a Radiology Group located in East Brunswick, NJ. This role requires an experienced professional capable of performing X-ray and Mammography exams while maintaining MQSA standards and supporting radiologists in a fast-paced environment. Why Join Us?

Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Licensure: ARRT(R)(M) required; NJ State License and CPR Certification required
  • Experience: 2+ years of current experience as a Mammography Technologist
  • Technical Skills:
    • Operates and maintains all diagnostic equipment to perform X-ray and Mammography exams.
    • Has capable knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the procedures performed.
    • Maintains knowledge of procedure protocols required to assist the radiologist in all exams.
    • Maintains required number of mammograms and CME's per MQSA standards.
    • Knows the application and location of supply items in department.
    • May require lifting patients for proper placement onto examination table.
    • Completes all mandatory URG in-service classes annually. Assists in training staff as needed.
    • May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain all diagnostic equipment to perform X-ray and Mammography exams
  • Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to procedures performed
  • Maintain procedure protocols to assist the radiologist in all exams
  • Maintain required number of mammograms and CMEs per MQSA standards
  • Know the application and location of supply items in the department
  • Lift and properly position patients onto the examination table as needed
  • Complete all mandatory URG in-service classes annually
  • Assist in training staff as needed
  • Perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment while adhering to all department and facility safety protocols
