Applied Laboratories is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our dedicated Weekend Production Crew. This position supports manufacturing quality directly from the production floor by performing line start-ups, in-process quality checks, sample coordination, documentation review, retention sample management, and lot-end quality activities. The Quality Control Technician serves as a key quality resource, helping ensure compliance with product specifications, quality standards, cGMP requirements, and documentation expectations.

• Friday through Sunday
• Three 12-hour shifts
• Premium weekend rate
• Work 3 days while earning the equivalent of a 40-hour workweek

• Approve line start-ups by verifying setup, components, labels, documentation, and applicable quality requirements.
• Perform scheduled line checks and document results in real time.
• Collect production and COA samples, ensure proper identification, and submit samples with required documentation.
• Perform or coordinate on-line quality checks and route off-line testing to appropriate resources.
• Serve as an on-floor quality resource by supporting production personnel and addressing product, component, and documentation questions.
• Maintain and audit production documentation, QC check blocks, batch record entries, and assigned production checks.
• Pull, stage, and transfer retention samples while supporting lot-end quality activities.
• Participate in line clearance, product accountability, traceability documentation, and final quality review activities.
• Monitor production areas for compliance with quality, documentation, PPE, signage, and operational requirements.
• Support product inspections, investigations, quality concerns, comparison checks, and continuous quality improvement activities.
• Follow all safety, PPE, sanitation, cGMP, quality, and documentation requirements.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous Quality Control, manufacturing inspection, production documentation, laboratory, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work primarily on the production floor and rotate between manufacturing lines.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify, document, and escalate quality concerns.
• Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to follow safety, cGMP, quality, and product-specific procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This position works primarily in manufacturing and production areas with occasional work in laboratory, warehouse, and office settings. Employees should be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods, moving between production lines, performing documentation activities, lifting or carrying materials, and working around production equipment, chemicals, powders, liquids, noise, and other manufacturing conditions while following all safety, quality, sanitation, cGMP, and PPE requirements.

Any additional training required for weekend operations will be conducted during weekday first-shift hours to support a successful transition into the role.
