Job description

Job Title: Lead Field Service TechnicianLocation: Orlando, Florida - Must be willing to travel.Who we are?Power Storage Solutions, headquartered in Dallas, TX, leads in stored energy solutions for telecommunications and industrial applications. With unmatched experience in critical power backup, UPS procurement, and DC power products, Power Storage Solutions ensures employees excel in product knowledge, customer focus, safety, teamwork, engagement, ethics, and communication.Who are we looking for? We seek a self-starter, reliable individual eager to grow with us. The Lead Field Service Technician (FST) will handle all aspects of installation projects, including superstructure construction, iron work, cabling, and battery installation/removal. The FST must follow directions, anticipate next steps, adhere to safety practices, and maintain a professional work ethic and appearance. They will resolve customer issues, supervise on-site personnel, and oversee service repair or installation projects.Responsibilities:Ensure projects are completed on time, following standard procedures, safety protocols, and avoiding service interruptions.Accurately report job schedules, project times, and expenses.Coordinate job scheduling with material availability.Develop project synopses, job-specific operation summaries, and cost reduction actions.Enhance the technical capabilities of internal resources and enforce PCSS policies, including EEO, Safety, EPA, and HR procedures.Supervise staff on assigned service/installation projects within the region.Stay current with DC power/telecommunications technology through ongoing technical training.Implement continuous improvement techniques to achieve industry-leading installation processes and expand the customer base.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with DC power installation/services.Broad installation/service experience, including field engineering, material coordination, site layout, troubleshooting, revenue enhancement, customer relations, and safety management.Meet customer-specific criteria for assigned projects.Meet Level 3 installer requirements as defined in Telcordia GR 1275.Field service experience with mechanical, structured cabling, or electrical skills.Join us to lead and innovate in the DC power industry!What's in it for you?Power Storage Solutions prides itself on taking care of our employees.
