Overview: The UPS Coordinator supports the department Team Lead, manager or supervisor in all aspects of the functional area.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to scan and process correct UPS labels on packages to be shipped.
  • Responsible for shipping pallets/boxes via UPS.
  • Load UPS truck with the pallets/boxes when the trailer is dropped.
  • Provide all necessary shipping quotes when requested.
  • Make any changes to an address that may need to be ship to a different location or help solve any shipping exceptions that may occur during shipping.
  • Incumbent will regularly be around moving machinery as well as marked changes in temperature and humidity.
  • This position requires work in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as Forklifts, hand trucks, box cutter, scissors, and tape dispensers.
  • Employee(s) will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties requested by any person authorized to give instructions or assignments.
  • To perform this job successfully, the incumbent(s) will possess the skills, aptitudes, and abilities to perform each duty proficiently.

Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years working in a warehouse performing material handling duties
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems is required
  • Bilingual – English and Spanish preferred
  • Must be MS Office proficient (Outlook, Excel, Word)
