Job description

We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as a Production Manager Assistant on our second shift! This position would have the opportunity to transition to Shift Manager as things progress.

Responsibilities:

  • Extrusion Machine Set Ups
  • Review of Scrap and Regrind
  • Quality Control Inspections
  • Safety Audits
  • Inventory

Training will entail:

  • Extruder set ups
  • Q/C inspections
  • Packaging
  • Forklift Certification
  • Resin and Packaging Inventory Count
  • Scheduling Work Orders issued to Production
  • Running Day Shift for 1-2 weeks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business Degree
  • 2-5 years Management Experience
  • Warehouse Experience
  • Fork Lift Certified
  • Leadership Skills
  • Problem Solving Abilities
  • Knowledge of the Plastics Industry would be beneficial

Hours, Benefits, and Compensation:

  • 5 PM to 5 AM
  • Additional hours when needed to fulfill responsibilities
  • Salary will be experience dependent
