This position primarily operates within an outpatient office setting, allowing counselors to meet students in a comfortable and accessible atmosphere. Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art resources to ensure a collaborative environment among faculty, staff, and students.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and screenings to accurately evaluate students' mental health needs, preparing tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique situations.
• Provide short-term individual therapy and crisis intervention services, addressing a broad spectrum of concerns, including anxiety, depression, and stress related to academic pressures.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops aimed at fostering personal development, enhancing coping skills, and promoting resilience among students.
• Collaborate closely with academic advisors, student organizations, and faculty members to create a cohesive support network that enables effective communication and referral processes.
• Engage in proactive outreach initiatives and wellness events to raise mental health awareness, contributing to a culture of openness and support within the campus community.
• Maintain meticulous records in compliance with ethical standards and legal obligations, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of documentation.

The primary focus of this role is the diverse student population within our school counseling center. You will work closely with college students from various backgrounds, each facing unique mental health challenges. Understanding their specific concerns, such as adjustment difficulties, academic stress, and social pressures, is crucial in effectively providing support and promoting their emotional resilience.

• An active license as either a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Proficient understanding of college students' mental health issues and an ability to engage them through effective communication and empathy.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and brief therapy models suitable for a university counseling environment.

• Experience working in a university counseling center or with a similar student population is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention and managing high-stakes situations effectively.
• Familiarity with integrated care models and an ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
