Help Strengthen Healthcare Operations Through Risk and Compliance Reviews
The University of Kentucky is seeking a Staff Auditor to join the Internal Audit team, supporting healthcare-focused audit activities across UK HealthCare and affiliated community healthcare operations.
This role provides the opportunity to evaluate financial, operational, and compliance processes while helping leadership identify risks, strengthen controls, and improve organizational effectiveness. The successful candidate will work with stakeholders across multiple healthcare settings to assess operations, analyze data, and support continuous improvement efforts.
What You'll Do
  • Participate in audits of healthcare operations, financial processes, compliance activities, and internal controls
  •  Conduct interviews, review documentation, and analyze data to evaluate business practices and identify risks
  •  Research and interpret applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
  •  Develop process workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  •  Prepare and maintain audit workpapers, documentation, and supporting evidence
  •  Assist with audit findings, recommendations, and reporting activities
  •  Collaborate with healthcare leaders, administrators, and operational teams across multiple locations
  •  Support audit planning, scheduling, and project execution while managing multiple assignments
