Job Description
Experience & Qualifications:
• We are looking for a Developer with strong in PICK Basic and experience with UniVerse or similar MultiValue environment, but preferably with UniVerse database.
• This individual will work directly with end users to maintain and support an in-house UniVerse database application.
• We are looking for a tech savvy individual with a strong desire to learn and have the ability to become the SME of this application system.
• A self-motivated individual who is able to work with minimum supervision to come in and hit the ground.
• This individual needs to have a strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, and detailed oriented.
• 5+ years programming experience in UniVerse or similar MultiValue environment
• Unix (AIX) shell scripting and universe system administration skills preferred
Responsibilities:
• Work with end users to troubleshoot, resolve issues, define user requirements and analyze workflows
• Code, test and implement programs of new and existing programs
• Document and maintain program procedures, system updates and maintenance.
