Job Description:
REGIONAL federal credit union, a leading provider of banking products and financial services serving Northwest Indiana, is looking for a Part-Time Student Credit Union Specialist for our Hammond location to join our REGIONAL Team.

Position Summary:
Student Credit Union Specialists will work closely with our student members to uncover their financial needs. This individual will also be responsible for increasing public awareness of REGIONAL’s financial literacy program. Research online content to be shared with Marketing Department for the creation of digital marketing pieces. Foster strong relationships with school staff and students. Promote financial literacy and REGIONAL products and services through presentations both online and in-person. Implement marketing plans and promote digital channels at all schools.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Run onsite student credit union operations.
  • Ensure each school displays proper marketing material.
  • Provide input to Director on operations and communication at schools. 
  • Implement a marketing plan for student credit union branches.
  • Communicate with all students on the benefits of financial literacy.
  • Serve as liaison between REGIONAL and school administration.
  • Conduct in-class presentations as requested by the school administration.
  • Represent REGIONAL at school functions including open houses, PTA meetings, and teacher orientations.
  • Research the latest trends at schools and provide information and material to the marketing department for digital marketing platforms. 
  • Research, develop, and create online videos promoting Credit Union products and services.

Starting salary: $16.00 hourly.
