Parisi Artisan Coffee in Union Station is looking for a barista committed to providing top-notch service to all our customers. If you love coffee and are willing to share your passion with everyone who walks through our doors, we invite you to join our diverse team!

Barista Responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers with a smile and engaging with them.
  • Receiving customer orders and servicing them to the best of your ability.
  • Creating enthusiasm for quality coffee.
  • Approaching the serving of coffee as an art form to be continually developed and only served if you are proud of it.
  • Handling transactions including cash.
  • Maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Contributing to a positive team environment.
  • Following all policies and procedures of Parisi Artisan Coffee.
  • Participating in continual training.
  • Treating customers, team members, and others with utmost kindness and respect.
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements

Barista Qualifications:

  • Friendly and engaging personality/demeanor.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Passion for coffee.
  • Willingness to learn and ability to learn quickly.
  • Commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly.
  • Standing for long periods of time, bending, stretching, and extensive use of hand      dexterity.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Successful completion of criminal background check required post-offer. EOE

Job Types: Part-time and full time (Please be prepared to provide your hours, time and days per week for regular shift scheduling

Pay: A competitive hourly rate + tips will be paid for this position averaging $17-20 dollars per hour
