As a Security Officer Morning Shift in Jackson, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. You will use technology to document activity, assist visitors and employees, and contribute to Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
  • Observe and report potential hazards, unusual activity, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
