About the Role

We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Armed School Security Officer to join our team in Kennesaw, Georgia. This role is critical in maintaining a secure and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors within the school premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol assigned facilities to detect and deter any potential threats or safety violations.
  • Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, and rule infractions.
  • Conduct detailed inspections of entry points such as doors, windows, and gates.
  • Enforce safety policies and address unauthorized or suspicious activity.
  • Report hazards like fire risks or water leaks and call emergency services as needed.
  • Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Completion of GA State ARMED Security Training Certification (mandatory)
  • Willing to undergo and pass:
  • Psychological assessment
  • Drug screening
  • Background check
  • Experience and Skills
  • Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or related field is required.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and manage physically demanding tasks.
  • Familiarity with security equipment is essential.
