Unarmed Security Officer

Unarmed Security Officer      

Location: Belpre, OH     

Job Type: 40 hours per week      

Schedule:

  • Saturday-Tuesday | 11:00am-7:00am

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour     

We are seeking a dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Unarmed Security Officer to provide a combination of first shift and second shift security at a busy manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for someone who is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment while working independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and patrol the facility to ensure the safety and security of the property.
  • Conduct routine inspections of doors, gates, windows, and other access points.
  • Observe, document, and report suspicious activity or security incidents.
  • Enforce company security policies and procedures.
  • Provide professional customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and security concerns.
  • Complete accurate incident reports, activity logs, and other required documentation.
Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must be able to:

  • Obtain an Ohio Guard Card (training available).
  • Obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card.
  • Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, pre-employment physical, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Provide reliable transportation to and from the work site.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, observation, and report-writing skills.
  • Work independently while remaining alert throughout shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous security experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
