Stamford and Bridgeport.

TUE WED FRI 715am-7pm

PART TIME FLEX POSITIONS ALSO AVAILABLE

REQUIREMENTS:3 years law enforcement, corrections or active/retired military

Armed Security Officer Responsibilities

  • Staying very alert
  • Monitor pedestrian traffic in and out of facility
  • Patrolling premises frequently to maintain safety of employees, patients and clients
  • Using oral de-escalation when needed
  • Writing daily reports of any incidents that may occur

Armed Security Officer Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Can always stay alert
  • Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments
  • 3 years law enforcement, active military, or 5 years Armed security experience required

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • CT Carry permit
  • CT Armed security license
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
