Job description

Position Summary

Gas Guest Service Associates play a key role in serving and delighting our guests.  If you are a high energy, outgoing person who loves to help others and work as part of a team, this job is for you!  Responsibilities involve supporting the Gas Station Manager with day to day operations of a single Gas site.

Responsibilities:

  1. Greet all guests in a friendly manner to make them feel welcomed and appreciated.
  2. Effectively operate the gas pumps and register, processing gas sale transactions in an efficient and friendly manner to minimize guest wait time.
  3. Maintain the overall appearance of the gas site (inside and out) ensuring that the site is clean to include the pumps, trash receptacles and any displays.
  4. Other duties as assigned at the discretion of the Gas Station Manager or person in charge in Station Manager’s absence
  5. Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.

 

Working Relationships:             

Gas Guest Service Associates, Gas Station Manager, District Manager, and various Corporate personnel and vendors


High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 

Flexible availability. 

Comfortable with standing for extended periods of time. 

Ability to lift to 25 lbs. 

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and order tasks in a fast paced environment. 

Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. 

Flexibility and cooperation with the Store Manager’s needs that may change on a daily basis to maintain the proper functioning of the store /station. 

Ability to work outside during all weather conditions.

Scheduling:

This position is a part time and full-time and involves working a variety of hours, day and night, as location is 24 hours depending on the location.  Weekend & Holiday hours are required.

Part-time (up to 29 hours), Full-time (30-40 hours)

Physical Requirements:

Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand/walk 8 hours a day; reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp and grip and work in cooler (cold temperatures). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
